Comsewogue Community Education Program

We began our eighth year of the Community Education program in Fall, 2007! We thank all who have participated in our classes for your continued support of this program. Many of you have come back to several different classes and we love to see you! Some of our new course offerings include: Jazz Dancing, Self-Defense, The Art of Collage, Genealogy, Jewelry Making and Yogilates. Interior Design, Reiki and Make-Up Artistry have returned to our listings, too, after a year’s absence. Other returning favorites include computer courses, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Tap and Belly Dancing, Multi-Media Art classes, and Defensive Driving.

As always, we are open to suggestions for courses from our participants, as well as the rest of the community. The program is here for you! If you possess a talent you'd like to share with others; if you know someone who has a skill or talent they are willing to teach others; or if you just have an idea for a course that might interest you; please call us at (631) 474-8183. Leave a message, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Or, email us at: vjones@comsewogue.k12.ny.us.

We'd like to thank Dr. Shelley Saffer for her support of this program. We also thank Dr. Joseph Rella, Susan Casali and the Board of Education for their support. Kudos also to the Comsewogue High School evening custodial staff, without whom this program would not be possible; and Principal Jennifer Reph and her Administrative Staff for their enthusiastic support, as well.

Thank you all for your continuing support, we hope to see you in class!

Vicki Reenstra-Jones, Director
