Community Members Needed for FACILITIES REVIEW COMMITTEE

The Board of Education and administration are looking for members of the community to serve on an important committee for the district. The Facilities Review Committee will be tasked by the Board to review the state-mandated five-year facilities report, and ultimately provide a recommendation to the Board about the scale of work that could potentially be addressed in a bond referendum.  The Facilities Review Committee will serve in an advisory role to the Board.

The committee plans to meet on the following dates: January 3, 10 & 24 and February 1, 8 and 12th.  All meetings are planned for 6pm but the time will be based on members and availability.  It is encouraged that all members of the committee be able to attend the scheduled meetings.  

Registered voters who reside within the geographic boundaries of the Comsewogue School District are eligible to apply for appointment to the committee.   Members will be selected from those who apply to represent a cross-section of community stakeholders.
