The Norwood School Community is having its annual Fall blood drive in honor of Jackie Rella on Thursday, October 25th in the Norwood Cafeteria.  You don’t need an appointment.  Just come in anytime between 4:00 and 7:45 pm on Thursday October 25th.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Attention Student Writers:

You could win a writing workshop with Ransom Riggs, author of the popular series Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children.  Submit an original 500 - 1000  word story inspired by Riggs’ Miss Peregrine series.  One grand-prize winner will receive a visit from Ransom Riggs to the winner’s school library for a writing workshop and one book for each student attending the workshop, up to 300 students.  Four runners-up winners will each receive twenty signed copies of A map of days by Ransom Riggs.

Entries must be received by Friday, December 21.  One Comsewogue High School student will be chosen among the entries to receive an Amazon kindle reader donated by Mrs. Svoboda.
