Why Does Clinton Avenue School
Have A Science Expo?

To engage the interest of students
To introduce them to the scientific method
To encourage them to understand science and possibly to become a scientist or engineer
To help maintain the scientific lead and the prosperity of our nation
And, perhaps, to transfer that prosperity to the whole world.
~Issac Asimov

The 2005 Science Expo was held on Wednesday, March 23rd.  Over 285 students participated this year.  The winning projects at each grade level have advanced to the Long Island Finals at Brookhaven National Laboratory.  The competition will be held on Saturday, May 7th.
