Along with our entire community, the families, teachers and staff members at Clinton Avenue were greatly affected by the news of the Tsunami Disaster. In an effort to immediately assist the survivors, Ms. Bifalco, Mrs. Barraco and members of our Student Council quickly established the “Clinton Avenue Tsunami Relief Fund.” A letter was sent to parents on January 5th and donations poured in through late January. Everyone at Clinton gave generously and from their hearts. To our surprise, we collected a grand total of $3, 250! Our impressive contribution was donated to the American Red Cross on behalf of Clinton Avenue School. We are proud to have taken part in this world-wide effort.
