The Virtual Reference Collection is an online library that provides users with a selection of databases appropriate for grades K - 12. The Elementary School Collection of databases provides reference materials such as encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, and other curriculum related resources. You and your child have access 24 hours a day. Once you select a database you will be prompted for your school name and password. Please contact the library media specialist for this password.
The Mission of the Clinton Avenue Library Media Center is to cultivate information literate students who can effectively access, evaluate, use and communicate information. We do this by fostering an appreciation for reading, and by supporting our teachers and their curriculum. The Library Media Center Program focuses on four key areas: 1. Library Media Center Orientation and Circulation 2. Literature Appreciation and Enrichment 3. Information and Research Skills 4. The Use of Technology
Policies and Procedures @ the Clinton Avenue LMC Students may come to the media center individually, in small groups or with their entire class to check out and return materials, to research topics using a variety of resources, and to read for pleasure. Borrowing Policy
Loan Period
Should a library book be lost, damaged beyond repair, or is no longer suitable for circulation, you will be asked to cover the cost to replace the item. If you paid for an item and it is later found, then your money will be refunded during the current school year. Please help us keep our collection complete.
