Comsewogue High School is proud to announce that junior Annmarie Kosak was selected to perform with the prestigious American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir. Annmarie traveled to Dallas, Texas from March 22nd through 23rd to perform at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center with an elite ensemble of high school students from across the United States.

“I am so extremely proud of Annmarie. She performed collegiate level music and was selected amongst thousands of applicants to perform in this ensemble,” said Annmarie’s chorus teacher Alyssa Stephens. “We could not be prouder of her accomplishment, and we look forward to seeing all that she continues to achieve in her musical journey.”

Annmarie earned this incredible honor through her exceptional vocal talent, dedication, and musicianship. She was part of an exclusive group of students to be invited to perform at the national level with the Soprano Alto Tenor Bass (SATB) Honor Choir. During the event, Annmarie had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned conductor Chris Maunu, further honing her skills and gaining valuable experience.
