Melissa is a humble scholastic explorer, whose talents and intellect are unparalleled. She possesses an unwavering drive that is the force behind her inquisitive and insatiable academic appetite. This drive has afforded Melissa many opportunities both at Comsewogue High School and within the community. Melissa has taken and mastered the most rigorous courses offered at our high school. She possesses a rare ability to critically analyze and problem solve, which has contributed to her success both in and out of the classroom. Melissa has also demonstrated leadership and teamwork through her involvement with various honor societies, Captain of the Varsity Tennis team, Law Club, and as a volunteer translator and transcriber in the Russian language. Melissa enjoys creating digital art and teaching herself new languages on her own time.
Melissa’s passions lie in Computer Science and Law. She is the type of student who constantly broadens her horizons by taking advantage of opportunities that present themselves. Melissa has left a positive footprint not only on Comsewogue High School, but in the wider community as well. Her relationships with teachers, and classmates alike, speak of Melissa’s kindness and accepting nature. We have no doubt that Melissa will be successful in all of her future endeavors.
Goal oriented, positive, ambitious and driven are words that instantly come to mind when interacting with Natalia Pashkin, Comsewogue High School’s 2025 salutatorian.
Natalia’s effervescent personality, coupled with her dedication to both her academics and activities strikes a winning combination for success. Natalia is well respected by her peers and teachers alike. She balances a myriad of activities along with a demanding academic curriculum. Natalia has challenged herself throughout her high school career by taking the most rigorous courses Comsewogue High School has to offer. She has performed exceptionally well. Natalia’s leadership capabilities shine, as she is the Vice President of the Class of 2025, Captain of our Varsity tennis and softball teams, and a member of our Student Leadership Committee. She has been recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, and is a member of seven honor societies. She demonstrates her leadership, teamwork and loyalty throughout all of her activities. Natalia also possesses a creative side, as she is a designer of handmade items, which she advertises and sells on Etsy!
Natalia is an animal lover at heart, and plans to pursue a degree in Biology with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. Outside of school, she runs a pet sitting service within her local neighborhood, demonstrating her interest and adoration for animals. Natalia has undoubtedly left a positive, everlasting mark on our high school and within the community. She will be missed, but we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
We will greatly miss our Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and our entire Class of 2025, but we look forward to hearing about all of their future successes.
