Comsewogue School District and Comsewogue High School are proud to announce Maxwell Cosenza as our Class of 2023 Valedictorian and Jack Montoya as our Class of 2023 Salutatorian!
Max is undecided on a college as of today. He will be dual-majoring in Computer Science with emphasis in A.I. and Machine learning and Actuarial Science. He has been the class president for the past 4 years. He has been on the varsity golf team for the past 4 years. He is currently the TASK president and is a member of the Math, Italian and National Honor Societies.
Jack’s intended major is Mechanical Engineering. He has put forth a tremendous amount of time and effort toward his studies as well as school and community service. Jack has been an accomplished player on Comsewogue’s volleyball team and has participated in our Literary Magazine club, Student Leadership club and Quiz Bowl. He has also earned his memberships in National, French and Math Honor Societies. Most notably, Jack’s commitment to the Boy Scouts of America has been commendable. He has dedicated numerous hours to community service projects, while continuing to mentor younger Scouts. Currently, Jack is working toward his Eagle Scout rank. His strong work ethic, love for learning and determination will serve him well not only in college, but in life.
