Comsewogue High School Students Get Involved

Comsewogue High School’s tenth grade students are partnering with Agape Meals for Kids as a class project in honor of Joe’s Day of Service. Agape is a small local group focused on providing food insecure children with weekend meals.

Agape Meals for Kids fundraises and collects non-perishable food donations. Volunteers with Agape then meet to pack backpacks with enough food to feed each child with meals, snacks, milk, and juice for the weekend. These backpacks with meals will then be delivered to our schools within our district, where they are distributed at the end of the school day. Comsewogue High School’s tenth grade students are currently collecting and donating food for Agape. In addition, Comsewogue's tenth graders are writing meaningful and positive notes to encourage and inspire their younger peers.
