Dr. Fama Named ESSAA Administrator of the Year
The Council of Administrators (CAS) has selected John F. Kennedy Middle School Principal Dr. Michael Fama as the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association (ESSAA) 2023 Administrator of the Year for Nassau and Suffolk Counties. CAS represents over 1,500 public school administrators in 70+ school districts across Long Island.
Dr. Fama began his career as a Mathematics teacher in the East Meadow School District. After moving on to become an Assistant Principal at Lindenhurst Junior High School, he transitioned into the role he currently holds as Principal of John F. Kennedy Middle School. Dr. Fama has also worked tirelessly to guide Comsewogue School District to achieve and maintain Middle States Accreditation.
