Warrior Pride was in the air as students, staff, parents and community members gathered on Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th for Comsewogue's annual Homecoming celebration.

The events kicked off on Friday, October 14th with our Bonfire at Comsewogue High School. Immediately following this annual tradition, our Varsity Girls Soccer team had their senior game vs. Miller Place, defeating them 3-1 and at the same time clinched a playoff spot.

The main events were held on Saturday, October 15th beginning with a Costume Fun Run on the High School track, where students were invited to dress up in their Halloween costume. Our Homecoming Parade kicked off at 12:00 PM from John F. Kennedy Middle School, marching down Jayne Boulevard and Clinton Avenue and ending at Comsewogue High School. The Terryville Fire Department and JFK Marching Band led the way, followed by our middle school cheerleaders, elementary schools, high school band and more.

Upon arrival at the High School, everyone enjoyed our Homecoming carnival where there were events for all ages. A bounce house and dunk tank were among the activities for everyone to enjoy. Inside in the cafeteria, the Athletics Department held their annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where four new inductees were honored and later introduced in front of the crowd before the football game.

At 4:00 PM, the Varsity Football game kicked off vs. Eastport-South Manor. The game was well attended by students and community members, and this game also marked our first Homecoming celebration with the new John N. Swenning Sr. Field House.
