The Comsewogue School District is happy to announce we will be transitioning to the ParentSquare communication platform beginning in the 2025-2026 school year! This robust platform enhances communication between our school district, families, faculty and staff.
The first step in our transition to ParentSquare includes the launch of a new website, which is planned for early to mid May 2025. Our new websites will include a direct integration with the ParentSquare platform, enhanced translation, improved and streamlined navigation, and better visual appeal. When we make this transition, please be aware that bookmarks you may have saved in your browser will likely need updating. Additionally, the current virtual backpacks will be integrated into the ParentSquare app.
If you are a teacher or staff member in our school district, and you have children in another district currently using ParentSquare, you may begin to see Comsewogue’s information populate in the ParentSquare app. We anticipate that we will begin to use the ParentSquare app in June, as we phase out our current communications platform (SchoolMessenger) by the end of the current school year.
The ParentSquare app will be a hub for district communications including district and parent-teacher messaging, news articles, files found previously in our virtual backpacks, and so much more. Additional details will be communicated over the coming weeks.
