Our new websites were designed with all stakeholders in mind. With a streamlined and more visually appealing design, it is now easier than ever to stay informed, find resources, and connect with our schools.

Why We Chose Smart Sites

Comsewogue School District is committed to keeping our community informed and connected. To better serve students, families, and staff, we’ve transitioned to ParentSquare’s Smart Sites website platform. This move allows us to modernize how we communicate with the community, and makes our website more streamlined and effective for all stakeholders.

ParentSquare’s Smart Sites platform allows for a more visually appealing, modern website that reflects our brand and our district. You will notice imporved graphics, easier navigation and a simplified layout.

The Smart Sites platform is designed with accessibility at its core. Our websites will continue to meet the latest ADA Compliance standards, ensuring our website is inclusive and usable for all members of our community.

Enhanced Integration with ParentSquare
Smart Sites and ParentSquare work together seamlessly, making communication easier than ever. From displaying calendar events, to posting news articles, to syncing announcements and alerts, these integrations will ensure that families remain informed and engaged on all platforms.

What’s Changed?

Our new website includes some differences from our previous sites. We have highlighted some of the most notable differences between the old site and the new one to help you navigate with ease.

Can’t find what you need? Try using the search feature (look for the magnifying glass icon) to quickly locate what you’re looking for by entering keywords.

  • On our old website, we had a section named “Resources,” with many links for parents and students. These links are now located under the Parent & Student Links dropdown in the header.

  • Content that was located in the virtual backpacks, including many of the flyers found on our websites, will be moved to the ParentSquare app.

  • The Comsewogue School District Mobile App will no longer be updated and will lose most of its functionality. Over the coming weeks, content that was found in our app will be transitioned to the ParentSquare app.

  • Use the Google Translate icon in the header, located next to the search feature, to translate the website into your preferred language. Simply hover over the icon to reveal a dropdown menu of language options. All languages supported by Google Translate are available.

  • The website header features a Schools dropdown, where you can find easy access to all individual school websites. When visiting a school website, simply click the District link to return to the home page of our District Website.
