
Each year, the Suffolk Zone chapter of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance recognizes one female and one male from each Suffolk County High School based on the following:

We are proud to announce Cole Blatter and Shannon Harrington as Comsewogue School District's recipients of the 2021-2022 Suffolk Zone Award.
Cole Blatter will be attending RPI in the fall and will be majoring in Environmental Engineering. With a 97.65 GPA, Cole is a member of Athletes Helping Athletes, National Honor Society, Italian Honor Society and has been a 3-year varsity captain on the Football and Wrestling teams.
Shannon Harrington will be attending Kennesaw State University in the fall and will be majoring in Elementary Education. With a GPA of 100.31, Shannon is a member of Athletes Helping Athletes and Yearbook Club, is a member of three honor societies and is on the players watch list for Girls Lacrosse.
