Posted Date: 03/13/26 (12:13 PM)

Comsewogue High School is proud to announce Annmarie Kosak as the Valedictorian and Dillon Order as the Salutatorian for the Class of 2026.

A student of profound intellectual curiosity and world-class musical talent, Annmarie has earned the top academic ranking in her class through a relentless pursuit of excellence across every discipline. Annemarie’s academic record is as broad as it is deep. She is a member of an unprecedented seven Honor Societies, including the National, English, Science, Social Studies, Math, Spanish, and Tri-M Music Honor Societies. Her leadership within these organizations is equally impressive, having served as the Class of 2026 Secretary, Editor of the Literature Magazine, and Treasurer for the Science Honor Society.

Beyond the classroom, Annmarie is a celebrated figure in the performing arts. A virtuoso on both the harp and piano, she has represented Comsewogue on the national stage, earning prestigious selections for the All-Eastern National Honors Orchestra and the ACDA National Honors Choir. Her commitment to the arts is further reflected in her role as a Student Representative for the Comsewogue Music and Arts Corporation (CMAC) and her work as a Student Drama Director.

In the community, Annmarie is widely recognized for her tireless work ethic and spirit of service. Whether she is serving as an Altar Server at Infant Jesus Parish, teaching piano and harp to local youth, or working her weekly shifts at Chick-fil-A, she leads by example in everything she does. Comsewogue High School is incredibly proud of Annemarie’s achievements and looks forward to her bright future.

As the Class of 2026 Salutatorian, Dillon Order embodies the very best of Comsewogue High School, distinguishing himself through a rare blend of leadership, creativity, and intellectual brilliance. A true academic explorer, Dillon’s talents extend far beyond his exceptional GPA, spanning the fine arts, athletics, and a deep commitment to civic duty.

Whether he is transcribing historical artifacts in his role with By The People, spearheading fundraisers throughout his work in student government, or mentoring younger Spartans through his contributions to Athletes Helping Athletes, Dillon approaches every endeavor with a "heart of gold" and a humble pride that elevates everyone around him. His several years as Class President highlight a devout work ethic and an inspirational spirit that have left a lasting mark on our community. Dillon is the epitome of an exceptional academic.

Recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, Dillon possesses a remarkable aptitude for navigating complex mathematical and scientific concepts—skills that perfectly position him for his intended career in neuroscience and medicine. Given Dillon’s genuine desire to serve others, there is no doubt he is destined to make profound contributions to the field of health. While on the tennis and basketball courts, his leadership as captain remains evident as he motivates his teammates with the same integrity he brings to the classroom. As a member of countless honor societies, such as National, Spanish, Math, Social Studies, Business, Tri-M, English, and Science, Dillon can often be seen tutoring other students. This innovative entrepreneur is also the co-owner of a landscaping company called TKO Lawn Barbers.

Most recently Dillon was recognized as a top competitor in the New York State DECA competition, and is one of just a few students headed to Nationals to showcase his skills in the area of business. To know Dillon, is to know a true champion, in the classroom, on stage, in the athletic arena, in the community, and most importantly in the values that guide his life.

We congratulate Annmarie and Dillon on their incredible accomplishments and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
